Ten Nonprofits Advance to Semi-finals in Innovation Initiative
Bold Ideas. Real Impact. A Healthier San Diego.
After an energizing first phase of workshops, coaching, and collaboration, ten visionary nonprofit teams have been selected as semi-finalists in Alliance Healthcare Foundation’s 2025 Innovation Initiative (i2). Each is advancing powerful solutions aimed at closing equity gaps and improving access to health and wellness across San Diego County.
The Innovation Initiative is more than a grant—it’s a call for transformation. Through this unique three-phase journey, i2 supports local changemakers with entrepreneurial training, expert mentorship, and the chance to secure a $1 million milestone-based Challenge Grant to bring their boldest ideas to life.
We’re thrilled to celebrate the semi-finalists and the momentum building toward a healthier, more just future for our region.
