Funding Opportunity: SVP San Diego to Invest in Nonprofits that Serve Children & Youth
This year, SDSVP investment’s focus is in nonprofit organizations “which are addressing the critical issues facing underserved young children ages 0-8 and underserved youth ages 14-24 in San Diego County.”
If your organization has programs that serve these demographics, this funding opportunity combined with the expertise and insight that SDSVP provides represents a significant opportunity to grow or enhance the way that you help those in need.

Specifically, we are seeking potential applicants in the following interest areas:
1. Organizations, collaboratives, or partnerships helping underserved children ages 0-8 lead healthier, safer, and eventually more productive lives, with a focus on prevention and/or early education.
2. Organizations, collaboratives, or partnerships working with underserved teens and youth ages 14-24, with a focus on the prevention of lifelong poverty and homelessness.SVP San Diego will select two nonprofits to receive $75,000 distributed over a three year period. In addition, our Partners will provide professional support and services to promote capacity building for your organization. The time and expertise incorporated in these services has been valued by our past Investees at an average of over $300,000 per organization.
