Mission Statement: The Council of Community Clinics (CCC) and its subsidiaries represent and support community clinics and health centers in their efforts to provide access to quality healthcare and related services for the diverse communities they serve with an emphasis on low-income and uninsured populations.
Impact Statement: The Council of Community Clinics’ mission is aligned with Alliance Healthcare Foundation’s priority to strengthen the safety net’s ability to provide healthcare to the most vulnerable and medically underserved populations in the region. CCC’s role is to build the leadership and capacity of community clinics to improve their financial and operational health. CCC has a history of quality health outcomes. Recognizing that not all healthcare is provided in a primary care setting, CCC secures funding for specialty services for uninsured populations and works with clinics to implement technology solutions to improve access and coordination of primary and specialty care. Health reform will lead to an increased demand for services. To meet this demand, CCC is convening clinics and regional partners to implement innovative solutions to control cost, improve quality and increase provider capacity through payment and delivery system reform.
