SUPPORTING THE SAFETY NET:
MISSION SUPPORT GRANT
By providing multi-year, unrestricted, core operating support to nonprofit organizations closest to those in need, grantees are able to do the most good for their community.
We apply a trust-based philanthropy principle to our multi-year core operating grant. San Diego Mission Support grant funding typically ranges from $25,000 to $30,000 per year for each organization, for three years. Organizations may use the funds we provide as they see fit, allowing them to best meet the most pressing needs of the people they serve. The total Mission Support grant funding is $900,000 per year with a total of $2.7 million over three years granted to local organizations.
