Mission Statement: To provide compassionate, equitable, and high quality care & prevention services for adults with HIV.  Foster education of health care workers and research.  Recognition of the inherent dignity of each patient and our desire to establish and maintain partnerships that enhance the health and well-being of all our patients, inclusive of the diversity.

Advancing Health and Wellness: Since 1982, the UCSD Medical Center’s Owen Clinic has provided continuous, comprehensive, dedicated, high-quality, outpatient, primary, and specialty care for San Diego’s HIV and AIDS patients. Designated as a Ryan White Part C clinic in 1997, the Owen Clinic is an international role model for the provision of state of the art quality HIV care. By fostering tools for empowerment, we encourage our patients to actively participate in their care. In an environment of clinical research and outcomes analysis, we strive to provide equitable and compassionate care to San Diego’s and diverse HIV community.
