The Emotional Wellbeing Dialogue
Freeing The Anxious Generation / Annual Live Well Advance – November 21
AHF is again delighted to help sponsor the San Diego County’s Live Well Advance, conference and school summit. This year’s conference has several sessions focused on creating collective action to restore healthy childhood through reduced use of cell phones and social media. This has understandably become a highly discussed topic—at the dinner table, in the classroom, and even in the Governor’s o ffice.
AHF has arranged for Zach Rausch to give the opening keynote address and participate in a panel session. Zach is the lead researcher working with social psychologist, Jonathan Haidt, author of The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness. After the keynote, Zach will be joined by several local leaders for a panel discussion about the state of these issues in San Diego, and what we can do together to improve youth mental health.
