Food Vision 2030 Kinship flyerAnnual Gathering–Food Vision 2030–Oct 19, 2023. Join advocates for food justice at the 3rd annual gathering for San Diego County Food Vision 2030. To be held again at the Center for the Arts in Escondido, this gathering, which is presented by the San Diego Food System Alliance, is an opportunity to share stories and ideas for how we can invest in our local food economy, preserve agricultural land, elevate wages and working conditions for food and farm workers and promote food sovereignty. Registration opens later this month.

 

 

Take Your Organization to the Next Level

Social Venture Partners is accepting applications. If your organization is at an inflection point and would like outside guidance, this opportunity is for you. Selected nonprofits receive highly skilled pro bono consulting support delivered in deep partnership in Social Venture Partners (SVP). Fall applications are now being accepted through July 27. Apply now through July 27.

 

Funding for High Road Training Partnerships

CA workforce development opportunity. The California Workforce Development Board (CWDB), in partnership with the Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA) announce the High Road Training Partnerships Resilient Workforce Program (RWP). The High Road Training Partnership (HRTP) initiative will increase access to existing high-road jobs for underserved populations and create pathways for job growth for incumbents already employed with high-road employers.

Applicants are required to have 1) employer(s), 2) at least one worker representative, and 3) at least one training provider. For additional guidance, visit full site here.
