Childhood trauma doesn’t end in childhood. Its effects ripple through adulthood unless young people are taught how to cope. Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hopeexplores the emerging science of toxic stress on children and offers innovative solutions for helping vulnerable young people become thriving adults.
Join Alliance Healthcare Foundation, The San Diego Foundation, County of San Diego, South Bay Youth Coalition and our partners for a special screening of James Redford’s Sundance-debuted film Resilience. Find out from regional experts, educators, and service providers how to help build resilience in our community to create bright futures for generations to come.
