Mission Statement: CCS has provided 42 years of compassionate, professional, specialized services that heal and prevent sexual assault and relationship violence.  Our mission is to end relationship and sexual violence by being a catalyst for caring communities and social justice.

Impact Statement: Center for Community Solution’s programs are a vital part of San Diego County’s healthcare safety net, ensuring that victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse receive specialized help that quickly connects them to resources that improve their safety and support their physical, social, and psychological wellbeing in the aftermath of trauma.  Our prevention programs reach thousands of individuals every year, teaching healthy, nonviolent relationship skills and identifying people struggling with domestic violence, sexual assault, or elder abuse and linking these silent victims to multiple sources of help.  Our crisis interventions provide immediate information, crisis counseling, shelter and emergency response advocacy as well as ongoing legal assistance, victim advocacy, and psychotherapy.  These services help identify trauma survivors early on and provide immediate, free care to alleviate pain and suffering and avoid the cumulative effect of untreated trauma.
