The 2015 Innovation Initiative (I2) application period is here.
We kicked off this year’s award Thursday, March 26, with the Innovation in Healthcare Conference, held at the Jacobs Center. There, we enjoyed a fantastic turnout and some thoughtful, inspiring discussion from regional leaders and nonprofits.
At the event, attendees identified 15 topic areas of importance in our community and prioritized three outcomes for each. I heard some great ideas getting tossed around, and I can’t wait to see some of the applications we receive as we approach the May 6 deadline.
If you couldn’t attend the event in person, you’re in luck! We had our creative team on site to record the event live, so you can watch from start to finish with this video posted to our YouTube channel.
If you’re more of the picture type, we also had a photographer on hand. You can see her work in our “Innovation in Healthcare Conference 2015” album on Facebook.
While the event was a huge success, the best is yet to come!
Now we get to start innovating, to begin building our ideas for the future, making them come to life. If you watch the YouTube video above, you will learn most of what you need to know to apply, but if you have further questions, I held two webinars after the conference, where I provided additional info and responded to user queries.
You can see a recording of one of these discussions here:
Ready to apply?
Great! We can’t wait to hear from you and to see what you have planned.

Good luck, and thank you for all you do for our community!
