County of San Diego, Agency Director, Health & Human Services Agency, Nick Macchione hosted the U.S. Surgeon General, VADM Jerome M. Adams, M.D., M.P.H. for a gathering and discussed Live Well San Diego—its innovative approach to multi-sector community partnership aimed at community health, safety and wellness.

A growing sense of confidence and collaboration was evident among those gathered Thursday to discuss the potential establishment of a private foundation that would fund local health and wellness initiatives.
